Why re-elect Ian Bain? In my final term on the Council, I hope to contribute my unique perspective to decisions that are critical to the future of our city.

Putting Community First

I WANT THE BEST FOR OUR COMMUNITY
A clean, safe city, with a strong economy, good parks and libraries.

With your support, I will continue to make this a

community we can all be proud of.

In my final term on the Council, I hope to contribute my unique perspective to decisions that are critical to the future of our city.

Over the last four years, I’ve worked to ensure strong fiscal management, beautify our city, secure stop signs for dangerous intersections and create a new dog park. I’ve led environmental initiatives that conserve energy in public buildings, resulting in a 22% decrease in electricity and 34% decrease in natural gas since 2005.

I love Redwood City, and I’m working to preserve our strong sense of community. Change is inevitable, but like many people I am concerned about the pace of development and its impacts on traffic and parking. We must hold developers to a higher standard of aesthetics, and ensure that all changes  enhance, rather than detract from our community and quality of life.

It’s important that Redwood City remains a community for all ages. With every decision I make, I think about how it will affect long-time residents, particularly seniors, and I thoughtfully consider how we can make this community a better place for the next generation.

I respectfully ask for your vote.
